Cheers to Friday and the weekend! How was everyone’s 4 day week? With Labor Day being last Monday, it felt like this week flew by!
We have Blakely’s third week of school in the books and things are going much better than in my last update. The first week was really hard (probably harder for me!), but now she is adjusting so well and is so happy when I pick her up. Our room mom even organized a cute happy hour for all the class moms I went to last night! It was so nice to meet everyone and have solidarity with other toddler mamas.
Our school does provide an awesome meal plan that we may switch to eventually, but while I’m still at home job-searching I have the time to make her a delicious, healthy lunch! With that said, today I’m sharing another roundup of all the foods I packed in her lunchbox this week. You’ll see a few similarities from my first Bento Box Lunch Ideas post with a few new favorites sprinkled in.

5 FOODS TO HAVE ON HAND TO MAKE PREPPING LUNCHES EASY:
- A variety of fresh fruits – Blakely’s favorites are ALL berries, oranges, and watermelon
- A variety of fresh veggies – Blakely’s favorites are carrots, cucumbers, and peas
- Dipping sauces – Hummus, tzatziki & ranch are a go-to
- Deli meat and cheese – this is the main ingredient we use for her lunches so I’ll always have fresh deli turkey, pepperonis, string cheese, and other variety of meats and cheeses on hand.
- Pantry Staples – we love having crackers stocked up (we like wheat thins or simple mills), we love Made Good granola bites, Annie’s cheddar bunnies, as well as Kind Bars or Simple Mills bars.
LINKS FOR LUNCH TIME:
Bulk Pack of Made Good Granola Bites
Bulk Pack of Simple Mills Graham Crackers
TUESDAY’S LUNCH
Turkey & Cheese Spirals, Blueberries, Simple Mills Graham Crackers, Carrots + Ranch
Note to self: put the ranch in a sealed container next time. When I opened her Bento Box after school the ranch was everywhere- poor girl probably had ranch covered crackers and blueberries haha! You live and you learn.

WEDNESDAY’S LUNCH
Charcuterie: Provolone, Pepperoni, Blackberries, Wheat Thins, Cucumbers + Hummus
Welcome to my take on a toddler charcuterie board. Or a make-at-home lunchable. Whichever works. I also packed her a banana to go with this lunch just in case she was still hungry.

THURSDAY’S LUNCH
Turkey Roll Up, Cheese Stick, Cucumber + Hummus, Oranges, Raisins, Made Good Granola Bites
Easy peazy go-to lunch. Roll up some turkey, throw in a cheese stick and you have your protein- check! Blakely also loves these Made Good chocolate chip granola bites, so I love throwing those in for a decently healthy treat.

FRIDAY’S LUNCH
Trader Joe’s Veggie Pasta, Peas, Carrots + Hummus, Blackberries, Raisins, & Made Good Granola Bites
I quickly learned from my ranch mistake on Tuesday to not take any chances with the possibility of this pasta sauce getting everywhere. I had to get creative so I put some tinfoil over the pasta and closed the Bento Box which hopefully did the trick! Pasta & Peas is another good lunchtime staple to make at the beginning of the week to eat off of.

And now we are onto the weekend!!! Yay! Our weekend plans consist of family time exploring a museum tomorrow, binging college football tomorrow night, and church Sunday morning. Let me know in the comments what you guys are up to this weekend! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!
