We are officially two weeks from Easter Sunday and I wanted to load you guys up with fun, creative, magical ideas to make your child’s Easter basket extra special!
Age three is such a fun and interactive age. They’re busy, they’re active, they’re curious, and they love to be hands on! From books to bubbles to better for you candy (I wouldn’t be court fit without it!), I included 10 simple and easy ideas for you to throw together. Naturally since I have a daughter some of these items might be girly, but I tried to include some gender neutral ideas as well.
Me, my husband and our three year old will be in St. Augustine, Florida visiting my grandpa for Easter this year so I added a few fun beach/summer themed items too! This could serve as inspiration in case you wanted to add them to your child’s basket in preparation for the upcoming warmer weather.
Also, if you have a little one that is age one, make sure to check out my previous blog post on what to put in your one year old’s Easter Basket!
THREE YEAR OLD EASTER BASKET IDEAS:

1) FUBBLES NO SPILL BUBBLES… okay these are a game changer in the world of bubbles. A little pricier, yes, but 100% worth it when it comes to toddlers. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought bubbles just for them to spill as soon as we get home to play them. Fubbles lasts so long and gives my three year old the independence to do it all herself!
2.) WATER BOTTLE… on the more practical side of things somehow we can never have enough reusable water bottles for my three year old between leaving some at daycare or in the car, etc. This CamelBak one is super cute and portable!
3) EASTER/SPRING BOOKS… we LOVE the Little Blue Truck books in our house and so the Springtime edition will be making an appearance in Blakely’s basket this year! Other honorable mentions:
- Llama Llama Easter Egg (we love the Llama Llama books too!)
- Never Touch A Grumpy Bunny (touch and feel book it’s so cute)
- Happy Easter, Mouse! (cute and festive!)
- Paw Patrol Easter Book (Blakely is in a major Paw Patrol phase right now!)
4) SWEET TREATS… if anyone has a sweet tooth, it’s me. BUT I am all about finding a better for you alternative to certain candies without all the artificial add ins that still tastes good! We love the YumEarth Organic brand, specifically these Lollipops! We also love these Hu Kitchen Dark Chocolate Bites!
5) BEACH TOYS... this $15 beach sand set has everything your toddler will need from multiple buckets, to shovels to a watering can to a bag to keep it all organized! We also love these reusable water balloons and this surfer dude ocean toy (when you throw it into the ocean it will surf the wave back to you – super cool!!).
6) SIDEWALK CHALK… nothing fancy here but you can never have too much sidewalk chalk. PARENT HACK: I’ve found that keeping some chalk in my car comes in handy for when we go to certain outdoor restaurants or breweries!
7) PAINT SET… I always like to include a fun craft in my daughter’s basket that can be used multiple times! This paint set comes with 50 pages of coloring sheets, 6 classic paint colors and brushes! The gift that will keep on giving!
8) EASTER THEMED POP FIDGET TOY... this is a super cute sensory stuffer to throw in and would be good if you have multiple children as it comes in a pack of 4!
9) SPRING OUTFIT… I’m all about the basics here. This three pack of simple t-shirts from Amazon is perfect to mix and match with shorts for daycare. Pair it with this three pack of biker shorts that are easy for our potty training three year olds to slip on and off themselves! Throw it all together with these Native Shoes (we LOVE this brand) and you are ready for spring!
10) BATHING SUITS & HAT... how cute is this suit from RuffleButts!? We love that brand. If you’re sticking with the warmer weather theme for your child’s basket a fun summer swim suit would be a great addition to their basket! You could even pair it with this adorable toddler bucket hat you can use all summer long!
Hope this helped you mamas get some fun inspiration for your child’s Easter Basket this year! Happy shopping and Happy Easter! <3
