MY PREGNANCY FAVORITES

1) 64oz Water Bottle
I used this water bottle EVERY. SINGLE. DAY during my pregnancy… and it really does help you drink more water!!! It’s obviously important to drink water anyways, but it’s especially important when you’re drinking for two!
Not only does this water bottle hold 64 ounces of water (they also have a gallon option), but it has time markers & encouraging words to help you meet your goal of drinking all the water by the end of the day. It’s pretty durable and comes with a removable straw!! Anyone else find it easier to drink more water when you’re drinking out of a straw??

2) Pregnancy Pillow
The back pain during pregnancy is REAL, especially as you get further along. By the middle of my second trimester, sleeping became uncomfortable and I knew I needed a solution. On top of the insomnia + getting up to pee a million times, I was willing to try anything to get better sleep.
I ordered this pregnancy pillow and I’m not kidding – IT’S AMAZING. I even slept with it for a few weeks postpartum too because it’s so comfortable. It’s a full body pillow that provided support for my back and growing belly. It’s seriously the only reason I got decent sleep during my pregnancy. Casey would even try to sleep with it sometimes!!
3) Waterpik Dental Flosser
Does anyone else struggle with bleeding gums during pregnancy? I won’t lie and say I floss every night, but I’ve never struggled with my gums bleeding as much as when I was pregnant. My dentist said it was due to hormonal changes and increased gum sensitivity, and he recommended using a waterpik.
There are some really expensive options out there, but I use this one and it does the job. It definitely takes some getting used to, but I did notice a difference when I used this consistently to floss! I usually used it when I was in the shower so I wouldn’t get water everywhere… the water power is strong!
4) Prenatal Vitamins
There are SO many options out there for prenatal vitamins, but I just want to share the ones I used during my pregnancy. Definitely do your research and talk to your doctor, but in my experience these worked great for me! I won’t lie… the taste of the vitamins are pretty bad. BUT they really were great in providing all the nutrients me and baby B needed. If I’m lucky enough to become pregnant again, I will probably take Ritual’s vitamins. I’ve heard great things, but they were just a more expensive option.
5) Lululemon Align Leggings
I totally get if these are not in the budget for everyone, but I swear it is ALL I wore during my pregnancy. I ended up sizing up 2 sizes from my normal size, and that lasted me throughout my third trimester too.
The align leggings are BUTTERY soft and super stretchy, and obviously great quality material. I had a black pair and a garnet pair that I alternated during my pregnancy, and besides the occasional dress, this is all I wore. It’s the only “maternity” item I bought besides one other pair of maternity leggings from Target!

6) Belly Moisturizer
I can’t claim that using this belly butter won’t give you stretch marks, but in my experience I used this almost every night and did not get a single stretch mark! It is SO hydrating and it smells wonderful. A huge plus is that it’s 100% natural. I would put it on my belly after the shower, and the bottle lasted me my whole pregnancy!!
7) Lip Sleeping Mask
I used this product every single night of my pregnancy and always woke up with super soft and hydrated lips for the next day! It lasts SO long, like I just finished the bottle I got when I was pregnant and I’m 13 months postpartum. If dryer lips during pregnancy is something you struggle with, I recommend trying this product out!
8) The Bump App
Going into my first pregnancy I really knew nothing… like seriously I didn’t even know how long pregnancy was. I discovered this app and used it to track how far along I was!! 10/10 recommend.
Have you seen people on social media compare their baby’s size to the size of fruit/veggies?? This is the app! I found it so funny and exciting to see what food my baby’s size compared to each week LOL. It not only provides your baby’s approximate size week by week, but it also tracks development and a 3D model of your baby’s growth!

9) Epsom Salts
I took soooo many baths when I was pregnant. It was one of the only thing that helped to ease my back pain and just overall uncomfortableness the farther along I got. I would add lavender smelling epsom salts to my bath, not only make for a spa-like experience, but they have muscle relaxing benefits too!!
10) Bump Box
Amazing gift for a pregnant friend or family member! I was gifted this box during my second trimester and it came at a perfect time. It came with extra belly butter, bath salts for a relaxing bath, an eye mask to help you get quality sleep, a frame to put your ultrasound photo in (loved this the most), and a makeup remover cloth!! It was such a cute gift to help the mama to be feel pampered and special.

11) Easy Quick Snacks
You will be going to a lot of doctors appointments when you become pregnant, so it’s always good to keep some easy somewhat nutritious snacks in your purse! My go to was trail mix, but I also loved having granola bars, a banana, or sometimes I’d even carry a little candy before I had to do my non-stress test in my third trimester to get baby B moving! It’s totally up to you what you pack, but sometimes those doctors appointments can be long and I found myself hungry a lot of the time!
12) Pregnancy Journal
If you are into journaling (or even if you’re not) it is so fun to create a keepsake of memories throughout the 40 weeks… and this one is beautiful!! This journal dives into each trimester, and even has space to write about you and family. A pregnancy journal is such a thoughtful item to gift or add to a baby registry!!

I hope some mamas to be received inspiration and ideas to help them throughout their pregnancy journey! I’d love to know if you use any of these favorites and which one you love the most in the comments below!! Have a great week!!
