March 26, 2024

Hi to all my fellow book lovers!!! Now that spring is officially upon us, I thought it would be fun to dive into all the books I am wanting to read this spring season!

I’ve been in such a romance, happy, feel-good reading mood lately, so if you’re in need of some romance book recommendations, this is the place to be! Especially now that it’s spring and the weather is starting to hit in the 70s in Atlanta – give me all the beach reads.

I’d love to know what’s on YOUR spring reading list in the comments! And let me know if you’ve read any of the below and what you thought! :)

A PART OF YOUR WORLD & Yours Truly by Abby Jiminez

I just ordered both of these books since it’s a part one and part two to read this weekend at the beach! I’ve heard such great things about this author and these books, and I’m excited to dive into these two! They both look like fun easy reads with some humor and romance which I love!

JUST FOR THE SUMMER by Abby Jimenez

Another Abby Jimenez book, but make it new release! This one comes out April 2nd, 2024 and it sounds like such a cute story. Goodreads describes it as “a summer lake house setting, hilarious loveable side characters, and the perfect beachy read.” Sign me up!

MAGNOLIA PARKS by Jessa Hastings

Is it just me or have y’all been seeing this book everywhere!? Now I’m intrigued. I love to read books that are hyped up to see if it is worth it. I’ve heard the relationship between the main characters is pretty toxic, but also you can’t put the book down. It looks like there are 5 books in this series so we’ll see if I get to all of them, but I’m at least hoping to get through the first!

THE SEVEN YEAR SLIP by Ashley Poston

This love story looks so cute with a little magical spin! Publishers Weekly describes it as a “poignant, magic-infused contemporary romance” which sounds right up my alley. One of my favorite booktok gals on TikTok raves about how much she loves this one so naturally, I’m sold!

LOVE AND OTHER WORDS by Christina Lauren

If you liked Every Summer After by Carley Fortune as much as I did, then we are both sure to love this one too. I’ve seen a lot of people compare the two stories as they’re both centered around childhood first loves that reconnect later in life. This book was actually published first in 2018 so I’m curious to read the similarities! Again, another touching romance story that I can’t wait to dive into this spring.

BOYS OF TOMMEN SERIES by Chloe Walsh

I have also been seeing this series everywhere and people are RAVING about it. It’s set in a private high school and described as an “epic and unforgettable love story.” It has such good reviews too. This is another one where I’m curious to see what all the hype is about, but also I need to be ready to commit to reading all 5 books in the series!

THIS SUMMER WILL BE DIFFERENT by Carley Fortune

Carley Fortune is one of my favorite romance authors and this will be her third book! It comes out on May 7th and is set on a gorgeous beachy island with a steamy story that is full of charm, emotion and chemistry! Can’t wait for this release!

SWAN SONG by Elin Hilderbrand

The queen of beach reads is retiring and this is her final novel! It comes out in June and I cannot wait to get my hands on it. Set in her usual Nantucket setting, it’s a story about rich strangers who move to the island and chaos follows. There’s sure to be great character development, edge-of-your-seat drama and a story that will transport us to the blissful island of Nantucket.

HOW TO WALK AWAY by Katherine Center

I recently read Happiness For Beginners by this author and absolutely loved her writing style and dialogue. This one was recommended to me by a friend and I’m excited to dive into more books by this author!! This one combines a deeply moving story with Center’s usual laugh out loud delivery.
